Wilson fanvid: How to Save a Life
Dedicated to
secondsilk because she answered this post. :)
I have finished another video! And I'm pretty happy with it. It's far from perfect - the wide screen/full screen thing is a bit irritating, not to mention the fact that I do not have "Tape" and decided to go ahead and just use stills from it... (I wouldn't have even known it existed if not for
daasgrrl.)
So, the video is to "How to Save a Life" by The Fray. And it's full of Wilson!Angst. Basic premise: Wilson remembers his long-lost brother and tries to sort of make up for it with his friendship with House, trying to keep anything similar from happening to him.
Also, I've, uh, gone ahead and cast Ethan Hawke as Wilson's brother. :)

You know what's interesting? The still frames actually went really well with the music and style of the video somehow- if I hadn't known the reasoning behind it, I might have just thought you chose to do it that way :-) Plus, I'm not sure if you've seen Tape, but watching RSL and Ethan's characters interacting in that really is like watching an R rated version of Wilson and House. Having those scenes in my head added to the comparison.
Well done!

I'm glad you thougth the still frames worked. I did try to fit them to the music and stuff. I haven't seen Tape, no, though I watched the Trailer - which I took screencaps from - and I gathered the H/W-ishness from that. Heh. And as I said, I couldn't resist making him the brother then.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
And nice icon. :)
