I have finished my Phantom of the Opera fanvid. Here it is: Everlong (set to "Everlong" by Foo Fighters).

I, uh, also made the weirdest, dumbest thing for House which is kind of but not really a fanvid, sort of like that time I made a compilation of all the times House got punched/kicked/smacked/shot, except this time, it's all the time House has had a "deep, philosophical conversation" with other characters. You can watch it here. (I actually made that before I deleted all my House episodes, so it's going to be the last bit of House stuff from me for a while.)

I'm not a phangirl, but the "Everlong" one is really excellent.

I enjoyed the House conversation one mostly because I started watching season three and hadn't seen a lot of it before.

Thanks! I'm glad to hear you liked it!

Ah, I didn't realize you were new to House this season. You can probably find a lot of scenes on youtube then that you missed. This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3Vw7ySfGhs) compilation of House moments is really great actually. I just found it the other day. Very funny, and with a lot of clips from seasons 1 and 2.

why did you delete all of your house episodes again?
ps probably for the better.

lol Because my computer hates me. Toooo many media files. It didn't seem like there was much point in having episodes to make fanvids from if my computer couldn't actually handle making fanvids.

I actually still have like 5 episodes on it though.

ps I like your phantom video

can you believe that I STILL haven't seen the movie??

oh and I saw this movie called 'Molière' that you would like.
(guess who it's about)
everybody loves molière in it because he's fucking charming, but he's like the nice pretty popular version of the stereo-typical steph obsession.

that and the scripting is brilliant because it's basically all of his best plays' scripts rolled into a piece of historical fiction starring him.
only it's in french.
but holy god it's witty.

Isn't this an oxymoron? lol ;)

That sounds really cool though. I'm not actually familiar with Moliere. I'll have to check him out, both the movies and his plays.

Thanks. That song has made me think of PotO for like... a very long time. lol. Before I started vidding or even knew what vidding was. So I'm glad I finally made a video with it.

Heh. I liked that vid you made wherein House got physically abused, and I like this philosophical variety show as well. Particularly the Chase bit at the end.

I watched the Phantom of the Opera one as well, because, hey, it's sort of like sparknotes. Not a 'phan', but I liked it.

Thanks. And yeah, the phantom one was basically a little summary of it, heh. Like "Wishbone!" Did you ever watch that show? Sparknotes for 8-year-olds. And so, so good. lol.

Of course, this vid didn't completely explain everything... Like, she got that part singing in the beginning because of him - he taught her to sing, and her set it up so she'd get the part (after basically driving the original diva out). And she thought he was an angel that her father sent from heaven... And Raoul is her old friend that shows up and wants to marry her - there were only snippets of him in this vid, the random long-haired guy.

And the whole ending sequence got kind of smooshed, so I wasn't sure it would make sense to anyone who didn't know the plot already. The Phantom basically gives Christine the ultimatum: marry me or the pretty boy dies. And then Christine kisses him, and he's like oh shit... Fine, nevermind, just leave, both of you, just go and be happy.

So, yeah. That's the story. lol.

Thanks for watching - glad you enjoyed it.

The POTO vid was excellent - you really seem to be a complete natural at visual storytelling, and the song worked perfectly as well. Also, movies have such gorgeous shots to work with and I think you took full advantage of that too :)

Aw, thanks so much! I've wanted to use that song for POTO for a long time. And yeah, cool, sweeping movie shots are fun - not so many of those in TV shows (although House does give us some cool camera angles from time to time, and close-ups are nice too). Anyway, I'm really glad you liked it. :)
