Then I'll dig a tunnel

Title: Tunnels to Narnia
Song & Artist: "Tunnels (Neighborhood #1)" by The Arcade Fire
Fandom: The Chronicles of Narnia (mostly "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" with a little bit of "Prince Caspian" toward the end)
Summary: General overview, with a melancholic/nostalgic slant. (Wanky description: I guess, to me, it's sort of about the way people and surroundings change, due to outside forces and the simple passing of time. What remains at the core? Familiar modes of escapism? Nostalgia? Love? C.S. Lewis would probably have something to say about this.)
Notes: This is basically the best vid quality I've put up, thanks to the new WMM -- I recommend selecting the "HD" option on YouTube. (Oh, and if anyone wants a dl, just ask -- I'll put one up.)

Guys, I made another fanvid.
watch it here )
It is multi-fandom with clips from the following films:

"The Lord of the Rings"
(FotR and RotK)
"The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe"
"Dead Poet's Society"
"Pan's Labyrinth"
"Peter Pan"
"Finding Neverland"
"Pirates of the Caribbean"
(all three)
"Neverending Story"
"Star Wars" (ANH, ROTJ and ROTS)
"Shadowlands"

The song is "There There (The Boney King of Nowhere)" by Radiohead. Here are the lyrics )

Concept: The video is basically about... a yearning for another world, for life to have some magic and deeper meaning to it, and being confronted with doubt and disappointment in regards to that wish. It is dedicated to the INFP's of the world. ;) In fact, all of the protagonists in this video are examples of the INFP personality type (except for Anakin Skywalker and Jack Sparrow -- an ISTP and an ENTP, respectively).

On a technical note -- yay aspect ratio )

Here's a link to the vid on YouTube, in case the embedded thing stops working.

Ok, so, yeah. I hope someone besides me enjoys it, but in the end, I know I really enjoy it, and that's the point of these things isn't it? ;)

Hazzah! I finished my Narnia video. And it gives me warm fuzzies. I don't know how many people here will be at all interested, but I felt it was time for something other than House. (This is in fact a complete 180 from pretty much all of my House videos, actually, as far as tone and subject matter go.) Here it is:

Title: Where Soul Meets Body
Song: "Soul Meets Body" by Death Cab for Cutie
Summary: Four English siblings (Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy) in the 40's stumble into a magical world, through a wardrobe... Well. That's the basic plot of the book/movie, actually, but this video is basically just about the whole story. With emphasis on a general feeling of longing, Edmund and Tumnus' betrayals and their redemption, and the bonds between all the characters.
