A NEW HOUSE VID!
That was the link at yousendit.com. Here it is at youtube if you'd rather.
It's to "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd and I made it basically just because I really, really wanted someone to make a House vid to that song. I think my Staind video might be a little better, but... oh well. It's basically the same idea as the last one: House is depressed. Except that "It's Been a While" is about reflection and realizing that maybe it's time to change because "OMG life sux right now!" you know? Whereas "Comfortably Numb" is much creepier and edgier and the general attitude is, "Well, living sort of sucks but it doesn't matter... I don't care about anything... so just leave me alone... I know I'm messed up, leave me alone." It's about resignation and denial and dissociation... And in the video I use other patients to sort of represent House symbolically... as they often do in the show, really. But at the same time, he's the doctor as well... House = patient and doctor. Alright? "It's Been a While" was more of a narrative, while "Comfortably Numb" is more about a state of mind... (I'm just talking shit now. The video's crap - but please watch it?)
Tell me what you think. I'm going to fix it up afterward, because it needs help.
